Olive Garden… Please give me a pass

This past week, Olive Garden has given out limited time passes to have Never Ending Pasta Bowl from August 31st to November 22nd… This may be the craziest deal I have ever heard in my entire life! You will spend $100 dollars for 90 days of unlimited free food, nothing can go wrong in that scenario! They have up to 120 different pasta combinations that you can order. First off, the 120 different pasta combinations will be eaten within the first month of this pass. I would be filming my experience daily showing the meal I ordered, and ranking them, yes I would be having a ranking of the pasta dishes from 1-120.  Is the pass just for you? Like, do I bring my family with me and they just watch me as I eat my 5-10 daily bowls? I would be having them order some calamari that I can pick at while having my meals.  Does this meal also provide the protein with it? Will I be having the dream of having shrimp dishes? Eggplant dishes? Chicken Parm Dishes? I would be using those with ...

Blow a wish, Harry!

Image
46 years ago, a monumental moment in the Fictional World happened on this day. THE Harry Potter was born. Us muggles understand how important this is for our entertainment world…  Since Harry Potter has become the "GOAT" of Hogwarts, there has been: - 8 Movies created  - 7 Books created - As of February 2023 have sold over 600 Million Copies - Overall over 7.7 Billion Dollars in grossing film series Harry has had us fans watching every single moment. The battles, the laughter, the potions, the spells, the Quidditch games, all of it.  Can we take a moment and think about how crazy it was for Harry Potter Starting his first varsity sporting event of Quidditch… He was 13 years old playing Seeker for his team that the rest of the kids are around 15 years old… It is like Lebron James being the face of the Cleveland Cavaliers when he was 18 years old… Big Time Players Play in Big Time Games.  The amount of battles this young man had will be remembered forever. Snape, Peter...

The change of College Football Forever!

Image
50 years ago the college football players used to have jerseys had nothing besides a number a 1 color. Throughout the years, teams started to grow some style, 2-3 colors jersey and some even had the logo from a top sports designer. Adidas, Nike, Jordan, all the top known teams got the big logos on the front of their jerseys.  The logos are cool, but it is becoming a newer generation of how the jerseys look. And now… it has become even crazier. Within the last week, 2 major college football teams are receiving sponsorship patches to be put on their jersey for additional pay to the program. Notre Dame is receiving a SoFi patch on their jerseys for the upcoming year, receiving $18 Million Dollars per year for the next 6 years while Ohio State is receiving $17 Million Dollars per year with JP Morgan Chase. Now I know this is how the future will hold with college football. Teams all around the country will have patches on their jersey. Organizations will be doing these patches in...

National Share a Hug Day!

This day is one of the most emotional way of affection… Giving a hug day. This is something you can do with anyone, a family member before you drive back home, a boyfriend or girlfriend just to show how much you love them. A friend after you had an argument or disagreement and just wanted to conclude with the drama.  Hugs can solve debates, show that you love someone, show how much you care about someone. You can really show how a person is depending on how you hug someone. Soft hugs, hard hugs, emotional hugs, lazy hugs, there are so many descriptions of hugs, that will hit or miss of how much you care about a person.  There are over 10 ways to hug someone, you be the judge of how it is when someone hugs you.  Just for the future, you would rather be a person that hugs hard than a person that hugs soft.

Happy National Waterpark Day!

Another Holiday that used to be the greatest thing as a child. Going to a lake? Fun! Going in the pool? Great! Going to the beach? Amazing! Going to a waterpark with your siblings and friends? THE BEST! This used to be the top thing to do on a Hot Sumer Day. Hershey Park, Lake Compounds, Six Flags, Disney, all of these Amusement Parks have the fun rides that have the biggest drops, but there are always those times that the best part of the day are when you spend 3-4 hours at the waterpark section. You got the water rides with the tubes, lazy river, the water park area where they have the splash zone… these are the best of the best.  Water rides are incredible, you get a group of people, your friends or siblings, and you team up to go on a big float to go on a water ride that is down hill. Some are half open where you can look around while going down hill and cheering, but then there are times where it is fully closed, and you see NOTHING but it being pitch black as you ride d...

There is 1 thing better than IMAX...

Within the last month, the hype has been HUGE about IMAX theaters regarding the Movie, The Odyssey. Everyone keeps hyping it up so much, "This is amazing!" "Look how much you can see with the screen!" "This is so much better than a regular movie theater!" And you know what, that may be right, but that isn't even the best version of movie they could have made it… Let's bring you back to a time… the good ole days… the early 2000s. Movie theaters are at an all time high, Blockbuster was at an all time high, people were literally spending their Friday and Saturday nights going to the Movie Theater to play games and eat popcorn. But during this time, they were not just having regular movies come out, they were having some of the movies… 3-D. When I mean 3-D, I mean it as when you buy the tickets, they give you these sick Red and Blue glasses that when the movies start, you put these glasses on, and the movie looks 3-D, like it is real life coming at you...

Holiday of the Day: Chicken Tender Day

Everyone get to their cars, run, do not walk, drive to a fast food restaurant, and order some Chicken Tenders… because it is CHICKEN TENDER DAY! The day of a food that is for all ages, it can be mixed with many things, many sauces, many stores, THERE ARE CHICKEN EVERYWHERE AND FOR EVERYONE.  Here is a list of the top 5 types of chickens I like to have.  #5 Tyson Chicken This chicken was my childhood food. This was something I quickly put in the microwave, put that in for 3 minutes, get some ketchup, and eat those immediately! Also used to put those in a Caesar salad, it was absolutely amazing, probably ate that once a week from 8-now, I love it then, and I love it now, it is an easy Mr. Reliable.  #4 Walmart Brand Chicken Strips Put some respect on their name. Walmart name brand Chicken Strips have been FANTASTIC! Put them in a wrap, Caesar salad, have them as the main meal, they were very surprising, but well worth the #4 ranking.  #3 KFC It is tough to put it as th...

Holiday of the Day: National Aunt and Uncle Day

July 26th, another under appreciated holiday… National Aunt and Uncle Day. This is for all of the people that are "Next Up" or an "Extra Hand" to help with a siblings child. You get to have the best of both worlds. You an hangout with the kid, be fun, do all the fun things, and right when it gets a little too much, you drop the kids back off and then go back home and chill.  You can always be the cool aunt or uncle that does not have to be the bad guy and say no to. You want ice cream at the zoo? Absolutely! You want to have mozzarella sticks for breakfast? You don't have to ask me twice! You want to have your third can of soda? Does not bother me! Your parents are the ones that have to bring you to bed that night. It is always the fun and exciting moments where Aunt and Uncles can be with the kids. Going to the zoo, sporting events, playing at the park, we are the ones that are always there!  I am surprised this is not a bigger holiday! This is a MAJOR day for...

M&M Top 5 Ranking

A guilty pleasure… a treat of all treats… the M&M has been giving people smiles since 1941 and has been growing ever since. This treat is a Movie Theater Go To, a treat to walk around with, something that people will always love to love. Here are the rankings of the top 5 M&M's from my personal opinion. If you agree, thank you. If you do not agree, then you are wrong. Here we go, that top 5… #5 Caramel M&Ms The Caramel M&Ms a delicious treat that to have. I do not think it is something I can have too much of, but it is sweet and a unique taste, especially knowing that it has been more of a newer kind of M&M. Too gooey at times, but it is indeed delicious! #4 Peanut Butter M&Ms The #2 best peanut type of M&M! It is absolutely delicious and also a rather knew type of M&M. They are amazing and nice to but half through and have the Peanut Butter taste. I feel like you cannot have too many of them, but with the ones you can have, they are amazing.  ...

Trust the Process

What a time to be living in the City of Brother Love recently! We got the Making of the Rocky movie coming out and now… Lebron James joining the Philadelphia 76ers to "Trust the Process", what a time! I do not know if there has been a better time to be living in this city since Allen Iverson and the 76ers won game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Los Angelos Lakers.  There are so many things to think about right now with how this will change for the NBA. First off, the 76ers starting lineup now with Lebron being there… Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Jaylen Brown, Lebron James, and Joel Embiid. Every player from the starting lineup may actually be playing in the All Star Game this year. The biggest concern that this team will have is if they can stay healthy, and even if they cannot stay healthy, can they just be healthy for the playoffs? The East is back on top and with the previous champions being the New York Knicks, this may be fun to watch for the next couple of years.  ...

Is Diego Pavia worth the risk?

YES! The answer is YES! Come on NFL, Diego Pavia is one of the more entertaining players coming into the NFL this year, and he will not even get the chance to play in the Pre-Season! Diego Pavia has been released from the Baltimore Ravens before the preseason games even started.  This is tough to see because Diego just had an amazing last season at Vanderbilt. He was one of the Heisman Runner-Ups, 39 total touchdowns with over 3,500 yards passing, and finishing the seasons with the team being ranked #14 which is one of the best years they have had in a long time. Diego has played confident, he plays with grit, and most importantly, this man is ENTERTAINING. Got to give him a good Pete Weber Quote, "Hate me or love me, you watched. That's all you could do." He has taken over in the College season, but could he do it for the NFL Pre-Season?  I understand when talking about the NFL, there are MANY great quarterbacks and even greats do not have a starting position. I do not ...

Happy Friday!

Another work week, another work day, we have made it… IT'S FINALLY FRIDAY! A summer weekend? You only get a specific amount of times to do this in your life, so let's make the best of it! Obviously when the Fall weekends come, it will be spent on 12 hours of College Football on Saturday, and then another 12 hours of NFL on Sunday.  But this is the weekend during the summer… No sports going on, no main events going on, no holidays going on, just unlimited possibilities to do whatever you like! Go to the lake, go to the beach, go to a restaurant, go on a hike! You can do whatever you want!  We did it everyone! Go out and enjoy the weekend!

July 24th… The Most Underrated National Day

There are hundreds, and I mean HUNDREDS of National Holidays. There can be holidays for literally anything, National Blame Someone Else Day, National Talk Like a Pirate Day, National Corndog day, there are literally anything. Some can be serious, some can be motivational, some can be goofy, but the one that is on July 24th is a National day that is so important, that 99% of people in the United States have experienced this. This Holiday is so monumental that it upsets me that I am just learning it now. The day is… National Drive-Thru Day.  Now this National Day has been saving people time and steps for years! When coming home from a sporting event, on the way to school, coming home from a long day of work, or just when you are not in the mood to make yourself a meal or sit in a restaurant, the Drive Thru is always there for you.  The Drive Thru was first documented in 1947 in Springfield, Missouri in a restaurant called "Red's Giant Hamberg". It was then created with a tw...

Moes… Put some respect on their Name

First off, name another restaurant that welcomes you when you walk in the building. I open those doors and I am hearing at least 2-3 people yelling "Welcome to Moes!" It could be an employee or even a customer, someone is screaming those words. The menu is not too clustered, but just enough options for you to do whatever you want. We got options of burritos, nachos, or the stacks. Multiple options of meats, veggies, toppings, get that all together and take it to the table.  The Moes restaurant is the type that I like to go in and eat my meal. Tables are nice, seats are nice, a pretty comfy place to go and chill. Now the difference at the restaurant, and this is what makes it better than many other restaurants… the free add ons that you can get while in the restaurant. For starters, did you know that you can get refills on chips? I did not know that, it took me many many years to find out about that, and I will never forget that again. There have been different types of soda ...

Obsession Movie Review

I know I am late to the party, but Obsession has been an AMAZING movie. So many topics to discuss about with this movie.  First off, the budget for the movie being $750,000 and receiving a gross of over $443 Million Dollars Worldwide. This gives the Paranormal Activity success vibes of their budget being $215,000 and receiving a gross of over $193.3 million and also turned it into to a dynasty of movies. With the production, few characters, and limited places that was filmed, this movie is incredible.  Many questions I have though when watching this. First off, Bear’s wish is ABSOLUTELY INSANE! Not to fall in love, not to have prized possessions, not shoot like Steph Curry or throw a pass like Patrick Mahomes, but for one person who he works with to be OBSESSED with him. Granted, he thought nothing was going to come out of this situation, but the word “Obsessed” is nuts. And also… pretty selfish on his part to force a wish like that on someone else.  Why didn’t Bear just...

Worst Pain of All Time

People break bones, people tear ACLs, people pull things, all of it feels like the absolute worst pain. Can’t walk, run, or play anything. I had a pain that I think is worse than all of those combined, the good ole ear infection.  At 11:30 on a Monday night I wake up to a pounding so loud that I could hear it from all around my other ear. Not knowing what to do, I take some medicine and go to the couch to sit up. I go back to pain and just like that, a burst so big it’s like a volcano shooting in my ear. I wake up with no hearing in my ear, it was brutal, I have said “what” about 100 times in the last week. I have gone to 3 doctors, tried many medicines, and finally I do not have to say “what” hopefully, unless someone is whispering to me far away.  Through the 8 days, the pounding and aching of my ear, not being able to do anything besides icing and heating my ear I kept thinking to myself, is this the smallest but most painful injury? The body is so crazy thinking of that, ...

Lebron Decision Early!

Are you good with YouTube? Do you understand the platform? Do you know when you should or shouldn’t press “Submit”? Then maybe you should sign up to be the YouTube Director of for the Miami Heat Organization!  The Miami Heat YouTube page accidentally posted a LeBron James introductory press conference, which is fine, but there is a problem… LeBron James hasn’t decided where he wants to play yet. So now there’s a couple questions to think of. Is LeBron actually going to Miami? Was this a recruiting stunt to get the people talking? Did they accidentally mean Bronny instead of LeBron?  Linked In is showing that there is an available position to be a YouTube Director for the Miami Heat Organization. If I had that position, the first thing I would post is just a showing of when LeBron made “The Decision” the last time and see if anyone notices if it is different or not. Or maybe post the “Harlem Shake” video again? Give me the chance and I’m ready for it!

Summer Rankings

We are in the PRIME of summer right now and get to experience all of the great things. I count summer from Mid May to Early September, and that gives you ENDLESS possibilities to do all amazing things! Here is my personal list of the top 5 things to do in the summer.  1. Beach Obvious #1 of things to do in the summer. The beach has unlimited things you can do there. Tan, float in the waves, Boogie Board in the waves, fishing, play volleyball, eat a sandwich, literally anything you want. But the only thing necessary there are big waves, a towel, and the sun. Everything else is just a plus. You don’t see people sad or angry at the beach. The only time you see that happen is when an older sibling is picking on the younger sibling or refusing to share their beach toys. You can go to the beach and stay for an hour and just go in, walk on the sand, then go home. Or you can stay they for 10 hours, prepare everything in advance, lunch, snacks, drinks, umbrella, and stay from sun up to sun...

Becoming a Dog Father

I used to be that friend where the host had to put their dogs away because I would be scared if they attacked me. I was never a dog guy, no matter the size of the dog. Big dogs, small dogs, young dogs, old dogs, was never a fan, didn’t even pet them. As years went on, I at least let the dogs come out of their crates. I pet them and hang out with them and it was all chill, but deep down I kept saying to myself, “I am never going to have a dog, no matter what.”  Fast forward to now, I’m a Dog Father of 2. And these 2 dogs are the size of Elephants… I moved in with my girlfriend and became the Dog Father they never had. They are both Golden Doodles, a boy and a girl. I did not know what to expect: what can they eat? What do you do with them? What do you do if they are bad? How can you train them? Can they catch a ball?  I still do not know all of the answer to these questions, but I am still learning. I did not think I was going to have an emotional connection, but that opinion ...
