Michigan Football Week 1 Review

Michigan somehow came back and won against a slow but questionable win against Western Michigan 13-12 with a last second miracle 50 yard touchdown pass with 1 second left. And yes, I repeat, with 1 second left. There are many negatives things about the game as a Michigan fan, but also positive things as well.  First off, Michigan’s defense was fantastic. Overall, they did their job the entire game besides one drive. They allowed 12 points, 4 field goals, but 9 of those points were off the offenses turnovers. The Michigan defense allowed a total of 221 yards and allowed an average of 2.9 yards per carry. If you explain those stats to anyone, you would think it would be a blowout because the offense must’ve dominated and score a lot more… right? Right? WRONG Michigan offense was the opposite, I was expecting a lot of sparks with Bryce Underwood having the off season with a new coaching staff and not being a Freshman QB anymore. He finished the game 12/22 170 yards 1 TD, 1 INT. Now if...
