Didn't Need an Extra Second This Time!

Michigan did everything they had to do, defense be aggressive, Bryce Underwood control the offense, and for the Michigan run game to succeed throughout the game. Michigan was able to do all of these things and able to beat #11 Oklahoma in the Big House 17-10.

Bryce Underwood proved himself that he can play in the biggest stage, he made the passes when he needed and become the #1 rusher on the team. Bryce Underwood went 9/17 for 111 yards which isn't jaw dropping, but he was able to move the ball down the field and had no turnovers, which is how to win games. He also had 18 carries for 87 yards and 1 TD, and these carries were not just rushes off a pass play, Bryce is starting to get planned running plays as the quarterback, which I think will have them win more big games throughout the year. Jordan Marshall had a rushing touchdowns as well, but only averaged 2.9 yards per carry for the game. JJ Buchanan has been showing to be the lead wide receiver this year having 2 receptions for 48 yards. 

The offense has not "Officially" clicked yet, but hopefully when playing UTEP next week, they will show some more success with the run game and Bryce to have a couple touchdown passes. 

Now the real winner of the game, the Michigan Defense. Michigan controlled the line of scrimmage only allowing 100 total rushing yards and had a big turnover to lead to a Michigan touchdown. They had a great rushing on John Mateer never letting him get comfortable during the game. 

Both teams were absolute opposites from their Week 1 performance. Michigan went from losing to Western Michigan and being 0-1, to being 2-0 and deserves to be ranked, while Oklahoma looking very dominant after Week 1, to going 1-1 and still having the most difficult schedule in College Football. 

Overall, Michigan will go back to ranked for Week 3, playing UTEP, and get prepared to play #23 Ranked Iowa the week after.

Detroit Lions Pregame Expectations

  Detroit Lions vs Cleveland Browns at Detroit, it should be a great game, but I am thinking it will be a lot closer than expected. The Lions played an impressive game against the Ravens, this would be a heart breaker to lose a game that everyone in Detroit is so confident about. There are a couple of things I am very curious what questions will be answered for the game.  Will they be able to stop this man? Myles Garrett, one of the most dominant defensive linemen in the NFL the last couple of years. This man could make a difference in the whole game. The pass rush, the run stops, the pressure given to everyone, I am very curious if the Detroit Lions, who are very good this year, be able to still run and pass easily like they have been able to do the last couple of weeks.
