Trust the Process

What a time to be living in the City of Brother Love recently! We got the Making of the Rocky movie coming out and now… Lebron James joining the Philadelphia 76ers to "Trust the Process", what a time! I do not know if there has been a better time to be living in this city since Allen Iverson and the 76ers won game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Los Angelos Lakers.  There are so many things to think about right now with how this will change for the NBA. First off, the 76ers starting lineup now with Lebron being there… Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Jaylen Brown, Lebron James, and Joel Embiid. Every player from the starting lineup may actually be playing in the All Star Game this year. The biggest concern that this team will have is if they can stay healthy, and even if they cannot stay healthy, can they just be healthy for the playoffs? The East is back on top and with the previous champions being the New York Knicks, this may be fun to watch for the next couple of years.  ...

Is Diego Pavia worth the risk?

YES! The answer is YES! Come on NFL, Diego Pavia is one of the more entertaining players coming into the NFL this year, and he will not even get the chance to play in the Pre-Season! Diego Pavia has been released from the Baltimore Ravens before the preseason games even started.  This is tough to see because Diego just had an amazing last season at Vanderbilt. He was one of the Heisman Runner-Ups, 39 total touchdowns with over 3,500 yards passing, and finishing the seasons with the team being ranked #14 which is one of the best years they have had in a long time. Diego has played confident, he plays with grit, and most importantly, this man is ENTERTAINING. Got to give him a good Pete Weber Quote, "Hate me or love me, you watched. That's all you could do." He has taken over in the College season, but could he do it for the NFL Pre-Season?  I understand when talking about the NFL, there are MANY great quarterbacks and even greats do not have a starting position. I do not ...

Happy Friday!

Another work week, another work day, we have made it… IT'S FINALLY FRIDAY! A summer weekend? You only get a specific amount of times to do this in your life, so let's make the best of it! Obviously when the Fall weekends come, it will be spent on 12 hours of College Football on Saturday, and then another 12 hours of NFL on Sunday.  But this is the weekend during the summer… No sports going on, no main events going on, no holidays going on, just unlimited possibilities to do whatever you like! Go to the lake, go to the beach, go to a restaurant, go on a hike! You can do whatever you want!  We did it everyone! Go out and enjoy the weekend!

July 24th… The Most Underrated National Day

There are hundreds, and I mean HUNDREDS of National Holidays. There can be holidays for literally anything, National Blame Someone Else Day, National Talk Like a Pirate Day, National Corndog day, there are literally anything. Some can be serious, some can be motivational, some can be goofy, but the one that is on July 24th is a National day that is so important, that 99% of people in the United States have experienced this. This Holiday is so monumental that it upsets me that I am just learning it now. The day is… National Drive-Thru Day.  Now this National Day has been saving people time and steps for years! When coming home from a sporting event, on the way to school, coming home from a long day of work, or just when you are not in the mood to make yourself a meal or sit in a restaurant, the Drive Thru is always there for you.  The Drive Thru was first documented in 1947 in Springfield, Missouri in a restaurant called "Red's Giant Hamberg". It was then created with a tw...

Moes… Put some respect on their Name

First off, name another restaurant that welcomes you when you walk in the building. I open those doors and I am hearing at least 2-3 people yelling "Welcome to Moes!" It could be an employee or even a customer, someone is screaming those words. The menu is not too clustered, but just enough options for you to do whatever you want. We got options of burritos, nachos, or the stacks. Multiple options of meats, veggies, toppings, get that all together and take it to the table.  The Moes restaurant is the type that I like to go in and eat my meal. Tables are nice, seats are nice, a pretty comfy place to go and chill. Now the difference at the restaurant, and this is what makes it better than many other restaurants… the free add ons that you can get while in the restaurant. For starters, did you know that you can get refills on chips? I did not know that, it took me many many years to find out about that, and I will never forget that again. There have been different types of soda ...

Obsession Movie Review

I know I am late to the party, but Obsession has been an AMAZING movie. So many topics to discuss about with this movie.  First off, the budget for the movie being $750,000 and receiving a gross of over $443 Million Dollars Worldwide. This gives the Paranormal Activity success vibes of their budget being $215,000 and receiving a gross of over $193.3 million and also turned it into to a dynasty of movies. With the production, few characters, and limited places that was filmed, this movie is incredible.  Many questions I have though when watching this. First off, Bear’s wish is ABSOLUTELY INSANE! Not to fall in love, not to have prized possessions, not shoot like Steph Curry or throw a pass like Patrick Mahomes, but for one person who he works with to be OBSESSED with him. Granted, he thought nothing was going to come out of this situation, but the word “Obsessed” is nuts. And also… pretty selfish on his part to force a wish like that on someone else.  Why didn’t Bear just...

Worst Pain of All Time

People break bones, people tear ACLs, people pull things, all of it feels like the absolute worst pain. Can’t walk, run, or play anything. I had a pain that I think is worse than all of those combined, the good ole ear infection.  At 11:30 on a Monday night I wake up to a pounding so loud that I could hear it from all around my other ear. Not knowing what to do, I take some medicine and go to the couch to sit up. I go back to pain and just like that, a burst so big it’s like a volcano shooting in my ear. I wake up with no hearing in my ear, it was brutal, I have said “what” about 100 times in the last week. I have gone to 3 doctors, tried many medicines, and finally I do not have to say “what” hopefully, unless someone is whispering to me far away.  Through the 8 days, the pounding and aching of my ear, not being able to do anything besides icing and heating my ear I kept thinking to myself, is this the smallest but most painful injury? The body is so crazy thinking of that, ...
