                                                      Michigan did everything they had to do, defense be aggressive, Bryce Underwood control the offense, and for the Michigan run game to succeed throughout the game. Michigan was able to do all of these things and able to beat #11 Oklahoma in the Big House 17-10. Bryce Underwood proved himself that he can play in the biggest stage, he made the passes when he needed and become the #1 rusher on the team. Bryce Underwood went 9/17 for 111 yards which isn't jaw dropping, but he was able to move the ball down the field and had no turnovers, which is how to win games. He also had 18 carries for 87 yards and 1 TD, and these carries were not just rushes off a pass play, Bryce is starting to get planned running plays as the quarterback, which I think will have them win more big games throughout the year.                                                             We have been waiting for this moment. 9-8 used to be the record that Detroit Lions Fans used to beg for, and now we think of it as a disappointing season. The team is somewhat injured, but I think we have everyone that we need to beat the Saints in Week 1.                                                                Our offense is what Madden fans would dream of. A strong offensive line that makes holes and time for their quarterback, Jahmyr Gibbs that has a 99 speed and when he has an open lane, he will be reaching the end zone within seconds.                                      Last week was last week, we are on to a new week. Michigan will not be playing the top team in the MAC anymore, we are playing #11 Oklahoma. These two teams played complete opposite in Week 1, but no matter what, it is anyones game for week 2.  Oklahoma defeated UTEP 51-0 with John Matter playing very well going 11/17 with 225 yards and 3 touchdowns. They had a defensive touchdown, a punt return for a touchdown, 9/9 in field goals and extra point kicks. It was overall a perfect game that could be played, the best practice to be ready to play at Michigan the next week.  Michigan… kind of had the opposite experience week 1. Michigan defeated Western Michigan 13-12 with a last second 50+ yard touchdown pass as the extra second ticks. Michigan somehow came back and won against a slow but questionable win against Western Michigan 13-12 with a last second miracle 50 yard touchdown pass with 1 second left. And yes, I repeat, with 1 second left. There are many negatives things about the game as a Michigan fan, but also positive things as well.  First off, Michigan’s defense was fantastic. Overall, they did their job the entire game besides one drive. They allowed 12 points, 4 field goals, but 9 of those points were off the offenses turnovers. The Michigan defense allowed a total of 221 yards and allowed an average of 2.9 yards per carry. If you explain those stats to anyone, you would think it would be a blowout because the offense must’ve dominated and score a lot more… right? Right? WRONG Michigan offense was the opposite, I was expecting a lot of sparks with Bryce Underwood having the off season with a new coaching staff and not being a Freshman QB anymore.                                                Detroit Lions just had their first Pre-Season game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Lions lost 16-14, which is tough, but just remember that in 2008 the Detroit Lions went undefeated in the Pre-Season, but then went 0-16 in the Regular Season. I'll take a Pre-Season Loss any day of the week. There were positives and negatives that happened game one to start the season.  Starting it off with Joe Burrow being sacked in the first possession is a FANTASTIC start. I love seeing the defense playing aggressive and hopefully play like that for the rest of the season. Personally, I really loved seeing Devin White on the field, I have always been a big fan of how he plays. He's quick, he's aggressive, and he is a veteran linebacker that can help a lot this season.
