                                               Detroit Lions just had their first Pre-Season game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Lions lost 16-14, which is tough, but just remember that in 2008 the Detroit Lions went undefeated in the Pre-Season, but then went 0-16 in the Regular Season. I'll take a Pre-Season Loss any day of the week. There were positives and negatives that happened game one to start the season.  Starting it off with Joe Burrow being sacked in the first possession is a FANTASTIC start. I love seeing the defense playing aggressive and hopefully play like that for the rest of the season. Personally, I really loved seeing Devin White on the field, I have always been a big fan of how he plays. He's quick, he's aggressive, and he is a veteran linebacker that can help a lot this season. A garage sale is an event where every customer is trying to find the Golden Prize and purchase something at a garage sale for a low price, and find out it is a Golden Gem for hundreds, thousands, and even maybe millions of dollars.                                               We are almost fully back to the football season, but not just yet. Last night we got to have a little taste of football back with the Panthers playing against the Cardinals. Yes, I know it was the Hall of Fame game and I know usually those games are boring and end up being 10-3, but this one, this one felt a little more special than other preseason games.  This game had a lot of college successful players that had some time in the game, Kenny Pickett being the Pittsburg standout, Haynes King being the duel thread QB from Georgia Tech, Carson Beck having his last throw in a game being the National Championship, there was a lot of successful QBs playing this game even though they are not the starters for the Regular Season  The game ending 33-30 and absolutely destroying the over of 35.5 is such a beautiful thing to see ...

High School Football, College Football, NFL, it will be 4 months of football on Weekdays and Weekends, it is absolutely beautiful. Michigan Wolverines is starting the 2026 season with the Coaches Pre-Season Poll at #16 which is understandable going 9-4 losing to Oklahoma, USC, Ohio State, and Texas.  One of the most under appreciated Holidays of the year. This Holiday is surrounded about the first thing you do to get read for the day, and what is that you may ask? National Underwear Day! The most supportive thing you need every day to get ready and to get dressed.  The article of clothing is so important that they created a superhero out of it… Captain Underpants! Here is a little Storyline about the most underrated superhero!  The first story was created in 1997 titled "The Adventures of Captain Underpants", which obviously became very popular because since then, there has been 11 additional books regarding the adventures and movies have been created as well. There has been a total of 90 million books sold worldwide, 6 Activity Books, and 3 Spin Offs.  There are no Captain Shorts, or Captain T-shirt, or Captain Jeans, or Captain Sweatshirt, or Captain Shoes, there is a Captain Underpants, and he is the heroes of all heroes. 

A day I can really talk about… National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! I have been on Chocolate Chip Cookie Making duty for YEARS. Christmas, Halloween, birthdays, football Sundays, I have a batch made and ready to be eaten by family and friends at all times.  Here are the steps of how I make the cookies, and I will say this now, I DO NOT make these from scratch. I bought pre made, but there are additional steps needed in order for them to be the best and easy to make.  Step 1: You go to the king of all kings of cookies and pick up the pre made cookie dough, the Pillsbury Doughboy Ready to Bake. Make sure you get the one that does not have any peanuts involved for all the nut-free people.  Step 2: Open them up and cut the lay out into 12 cookie pieces.  Step 3: This is when you add some pizazz to the cookie dough before cooking them. This is when you add some ingredients in the middle of the cookie. You add chocolate chips, broken up potato chips, caramel chips, anything...

 This past week has been when the NFL starts having people starting mini camp. This is when teams are ready to start the long long journey from day 1 to Super Bowl. Throughout this time, I will only be focusing on the tam that I enjoy, the Detroit Lions.  So far it has been great for the Detroit Lions, we unfortunately do not have David Montgomery anymore, I already miss him, but we did pick up Isiah Pacheco, which is very exciting. We really needed a RB 2 to be a hard hitting, putting their head down RB and it looks so far so good. But right now, I keep hearing that our RB 1 is not practicing, waiting for a new contract.  Which I do understand, if you have the chance to make that money, go and make that money, but with the stats of last season, is it needed for an upgraded contact? in 2024, Gibbs's stats were 250 carries, 1,412 yards with 16 touchdowns and 2025 were 243 carries, 1,223 yards with 13 touchdowns.   Do you love your dog? Is your dog the goodest boy or girl in the entire world? Is your dog the most supportive animal of all time? Then you need to give that dog a good treat! I have 2 dogs, they are the most beautiful dogs, one being a boy and one being girl. I will hangout with them all time, I will play fetch for hours with the boy dog, and cuddle while watching TV Drama with the girl dog. I was never a dog person, trust me. I was the type of person where the dogs have to go in their crates when I walk in the house because I cannot handle them. But it changed, I have now become a dog person!  And this week is a big week for these dogs! You cannot give them cash, or a gift card for them to use, how about you give then a bone!  This is personally a big Holiday for me because this is my #1 go to Superhero. People have Batman, Superman, Captain America as the Goat, but those are all wrong, Spider-Man is the Goat of all heroes.  I was lucky that the first Spiderman movie came out when I was at the great age of 5. I was at the movie theater with my siblings and uncle to see the first and Original Spider-Man with the top actor, "Tobey Maguire. I did not blink once during that movie, it was the first superhero movie I have seen. The action, the drama, the love, it was the picture perfect movie.  Starting with him just getting bullied by the jock at school, Peter Parker being in love with their neighbor, finding out he had some "Senses" to fight the jock. Thinking he was going to become "The Man", but getting judged instead.  This past week, Olive Garden has given out limited time passes to have Never Ending Pasta Bowl from August 31st to November 22nd… This may be the craziest deal I have ever heard in my entire life! You will spend $100 dollars for 90 days of unlimited free food, nothing can go wrong in that scenario! They have up to 120 different pasta combinations that you can order. First off, the 120 different pasta combinations will be eaten within the first month of this pass. I would be filming my experience daily showing the meal I ordered, and ranking them, yes I would be having a ranking of the pasta dishes from 1-120.  Is the pass just for you? Like, do I bring my family with me and they just watch me as I eat my 5-10 daily bowls?   50 years ago the college football players used to have jerseys had nothing besides a number a 1 color. Throughout the years, teams started to grow some style, 2-3 colors jersey and some even had the logo from a top sports designer. Adidas, Nike, Jordan, all the top known teams got the big logos on the front of their jerseys.  The logos are cool, but it is becoming a newer generation of how the jerseys look. And now… it has become even crazier. Within the last week, 2 major college football teams are receiving sponsorship patches to be put on their jersey for additional pay to the program. Notre Dame is receiving a SoFi patch on their jerseys for the upcoming year, receiving $18 Million Dollars per year for the next 6 years while Ohio State is receiving $17 Million Dollars per year with JP Morgan Chase.  This day is one of the most emotional way of affection… Giving a hug day. This is something you can do with anyone, a family member before you drive back home, a boyfriend or girlfriend just to show how much you love them. A friend after you had an argument or disagreement and just wanted to conclude with the drama.  Hugs can solve debates, show that you love someone, show how much you care about someone. You can really show how a person is depending on how you hug someone. Soft hugs, hard hugs, emotional hugs, lazy hugs, there are so many descriptions of hugs, that will hit or miss of how much you care about a person.  There are over 10 ways to hug someone, you be the judge of how it is when someone hugs you.  Just for the future, you would rather be a person that hugs hard than a person that hugs soft. 

 Another Holiday that used to be the greatest thing as a child. Going to a lake? Fun! Going in the pool? Great! Going to the beach? Amazing! Going to a waterpark with your siblings and friends? THE BEST! This used to be the top thing to do on a Hot Sumer Day. Hershey Park, Lake Compounds, Six Flags, Disney, all of these Amusement Parks have the fun rides that have the biggest drops, but there are always those times that the best part of the day are when you spend 3-4 hours at the waterpark section. You got the water rides with the tubes, lazy river, the water park area where they have the splash zone… these are the best of the best.  Water rides are incredible, you get a group of people, your friends or siblings, and you team up to go on a big float to go on a water ride that is down hill. Some are half open where you can look around while going down hill and cheering, but then there are times where it is fully closed, and you see NOTHING but it being pitch black as you ride d...

Within the last month, the hype has been HUGE about IMAX theaters regarding the Movie, The Odyssey. Everyone keeps hyping it up so much, "This is amazing!" "Look how much you can see with the screen!" "This is so much better than a regular movie theater!" And you know what, that may be right, but that isn't even the best version of movie they could have made it… Let's bring you back to a time… the good ole days… the early 2000s. Movie theaters are at an all time high, Blockbuster was at an all time high, people were literally spending their Friday and Saturday nights going to the Movie Theater to play games and eat popcorn. But during this time, they were not just having regular movies come out, they were having some of the movies… 3-D. When I mean 3-D, I mean it as when you buy the tickets, they give you these sick Red and Blue glasses that when the movies start, you put these glasses on, and the movie looks 3-D, like it is real life coming at you...

Everyone get to their cars, run, do not walk, drive to a fast food restaurant, and order some Chicken Tenders… because it is CHICKEN TENDER DAY!  July 26th, another under appreciated holiday… National Aunt and Uncle Day. This is for all of the people that are "Next Up" or an "Extra Hand" to help with a siblings child. You get to have the best of both worlds. You an hangout with the kid, be fun, do all the fun things, and right when it gets a little too much, you drop the kids back off and then go back home and chill.  You can always be the cool aunt or uncle that does not have to be the bad guy and say no to. You want ice cream at the zoo? Absolutely! You want to have mozzarella sticks for breakfast? You don't have to ask me twice! You want to have your third can of soda? Does not bother me! Your parents are the ones that have to bring you to bed that night. It is always the fun and exciting moments where Aunt and Uncles can be with the kids.  A guilty pleasure… a treat of all treats… the M&M has been giving people smiles since 1941 and has been growing ever since.  What a time to be living in the City of Brother Love recently! We got the Making of the Rocky movie coming out and now… Lebron James joining the Philadelphia 76ers to "Trust the Process", what a time! I do not know if there has been a better time to be living in this city since Allen Iverson and the 76ers won game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Los Angelos Lakers.  There are so many things to think about right now with how this will change for the NBA. First off, the 76ers starting lineup now with Lebron being there… Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Jaylen Brown, Lebron James, and Joel Embiid. Every player from the starting lineup may actually be playing in the All Star Game this year. The biggest concern that this team will have is if they can stay healthy, and even if they cannot stay healthy, can they just be healthy for the playoffs? The East is back on top and with the previous champions being the New York Knicks, this may be fun to watch for the next couple of years.  ...
