The real marketing genius
I will admit it... I am not a full time Swiftie... I used to low the old time, mid 2000's Taylor Swift. Listening to "You Belong With Me", "Love Story", and "Our Song" all day, everyday, listening to them before big time basketball games, and making sure it was on full blast on the computer while doing my homework. Throughout the years, I have not been a full time listener like I used to, still listening to songs, and always being impressed, but not becoming a Day 1 fan anymore.
Throughout the years I have seen on social media and also even know people that have basically taken every dollar they have in their bank account just to buy a ticket to a concert. I have seen people drive a couple hours for a concert, phone across country for a concert, and even had someone who flew to a different country to make sure they made it to the concert. It is absolutely incredible... and the best part is, I have never heard of a unimpressed fan at a concert, they have all said the same words... "That concert was worth every penny." Now with that, I thought it was done, I was thinking, "maybe she will have a break for a bit now from after those big time concerts" and then she does another thing to impress me about her marketing ability...
SHE IS NOW MAKING A FILM THAT IS PUT IN THE MOVIE THEATERS....AGAIN?!?!? As I look for tickets to buy so I can go to see this in the movies, I see some are already sold out or if not, half the theaters are filled. Taylor Swift is saving movie theaters like Tom Cruise did with Top Gun. She impresses me more and more about her marketing and the ways she gets to show out her music and life to her fans. People cannot get enough of her, and I know for a fact some of those fans will be at the movie theaters multiple times to see that movie. I think she should make her own version of the Pete Weber quote, and it say, "Love me or really love me... you watched" Taylor Swift stays killing it, and with that, all I can do is stand up and applaud to her.
