For many, many years, MILLIONS of people have stayed up late to watch the Super Bowl to wait til the last seconds of the second quarter to go to 0 and for the Halftime Show to start. There has been Beyonce, Prince, Michael Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, so many megastars that absolutely crushed the Halftime Show and the fans have gone wild. Unfortunately, there has not yet been an artist that has got me feeling the way to count down the seconds until to see their performance. These are my top 5 artists I would love to see perform.
5.) Drake: I think Drake would absolutely run the show. They have enough songs of both fast and slow pace, and also some oldie songs and new songs where fans can sing with it. He is at this time, also a super mega star that I know fans would be waiting to watch him and to sing all of his top songs. He could also get a lot of great features that could be surprises to make the half time even better than anyone could imagine.
4.) Post Malone: I know this year he is performing a little, but I do think he deserves to be the head line for the Halftime Show. He has so many hits from Sunflower, to Congratulations, to I Fall Apart, all amazing songs that I know fans at the Stadium can be screaming as people will also be doing that to their televisions. He can also play some instruments that would be impressive and fans would love to see.
3.) J. Cole: He is my favorite artist of all time, the man has head bopping songs to emotional heart warming songs. He has songs where the lyrics are not too quick for fans to actually be able to listen to and sing with it. He has very loyal fans where I really think people would be willing to pay the ticket just to go and watch him perform. Perfect scenario would be for him to be the Halftime Show if the game was in Charlotte. I could only dream for him to perform the song "Love Yourz" and finishing with "No Role Modelz". He has top songs to his beginning years and still has top songs that just came out recently. He is just a great artist and fans would love to watch him at halftime.
2.) Alicia Keys: Alicia Keys is rumored to be doing some songs during the Halftime Show, but they need to put some respect on her name. Alicia Keys is one of my personal favorite artists that have so many amazing songs, so much talent, just amazing to watch. 2 things I would beg if she did the halftime show would be to first, show the fans of her playing both pianos at the same time, because I think that might be the coolest thing I have ever seen, and secondly, have the Superbowl in New York and she can sing "New York" with the surprise guest of Jay Z to come out. I really think the whole stadium would be giving a standing ovation.
1.) Taylor Swift: I personally thing there can be no other artist that could be at the #1 spot here. With the songs she has, the fame she has, the loyalty her fans have... I think it could surpass any viewing record. Fans are literally paying hundreds if not thousands of dollars just to get a chance to see her at the game, let alone performing at the game. She has so many amazing songs... from songs that came out in 2008 all the way to 2023. If the Super Bowl wanted the Halftime show to make it the best possible year, sign her up and let her run the show. Let her change her outfit and really turn it into a little concert that she does around the world. The Swifties would go crazy and more people would even go to watch her than to even watch the game.
