New Generation of the NBA

For the last 10 years, the NBA has consists of the same NBA players that take over the playoffs where I get to sit and watch. Lebron James, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Russel Westbrook. And throughout this year in the playoffs, I am seeing this new generational players taking over this round over the same veterans that I used to look up to every year. Some of the teams are even close to "Super Teams" and they cannot even get a win in the first round yet. So this is where the question is being talked about... Is there a new sheriff in town in the NBA?

This series has been the most surprising match up that I was not expecting for another couple of years. Anthony Edwards has been a monster throughout the years, but when I saw that this was the matchup, I was not expecting it to be close. The Phoenix Suns just from the look of it, looks like a Super Team. Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal. This team has just made the finals a couple of years ago, and that was without Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal. But everytime I watch these teams play, The Timberwolves look like the real deal as they are destroying them every game this series and showing their emotions of how hype they are. Right now the series is 3-0, and I would be surprised if the Suns give any hustle the next game they play.

This series with the Nuggets against the Lakers have gotten so bad that Lebron is telling the media, "It's just basketball." A couple of the games have not looked even close, but when the Lakers had the best chance to win with a 20+ point lead, they blew it and had Murry hitting a game winner over Anthony Davis. I am a big fan of Lebron, but I do not know how many years they have left of going to the playoffs and making it anymore. The Lakers have done a pretty good job with picking up some key players, but they for some reason just cannot get the wins they need. I would hate to see a sweep on Lebron, but I think it will be happening.

The Clippers is one of those teams that if the team all had their players in their prime...it would be one of the greatest teams of all time. You are telling me that James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Kawhi, and Paul George and you are losing in the series? Each of these players have had moments in previous playoffs where they had put the teams on their back to win a whole series. With Luka and Kyrie on the other team, I understand the series will be tough, but I do not even know who the Clippers could get then to make the team even better.

There is more players that are in this new generation that are taking over and before we know it, the old generation will be done and the only thing we can do is just cherish the old moments.
