The heroes of March Madness (So far)

Image
This is the greatest sports month of the entire year... Buzzer beaters, upsets, blowouts, those are always expected throughout the first 2 rounds of the tournament. When the game ends, they do highlight video to a perfect song of, "One Shining Moment". And with that... here are the players that experienced March Madness's, "One Shining Moment". This one may have been the biggest one of this years March Madness. Jack Gohlke, is an absolute problem at the 3 point line. This player does not even start from the team, but he is the main player they go to when they need some points. He was in 2nd place for most 3 point makes for this year in the NCAA with 121. The best part is... HE ONLY MADE EIGHT BASKETS THAT WERE NOT BEHIND THE ARC! He made an incredible 10 threes to upset #3 ranked Kentucky, and making 6 threes against North Carolina State. Each shot looking smoother than the shot before. He immediately started to get NIL deals right after the Kentucky game, som

Last Shining Moment?

Congrats to Long Beach State who beat UC Davis in their conference championship to gain a March Madness bid. They must be feeling amazing right now, and the coach should be getting high honors to win this tournament, right? WRONG! The coach actually got fired before the tournament started, but was given the opportunity to coach until the season ended. Well the season has not ended yet, and will be informed at the end of the day on Selection Sunday to who they will be playing. In Long Beach States defense... The team was 18-14 and lost the last 5 games of the season before the conference tournament happened. Dan Monson has been coaching at Long Beach State since 2007 with the overall record at the school of 275-272, which is not too amazing of an overall record. His best season was in 2011 season where they went 25-9 with a regular season championship, conference championship, and a NCAA tournament bid. Since then, there has been nothing.  Now with Dan Monson has nothing to lose... th

ITS A BEAUTIFUL DAY TO BE IRISH

Image
There is one day every year where everyone wears green and brags to everyone saying, "I am Irish just for today!" While holding a dark beer in their hand. It is a day where people go out to bars, friend's houses, or the street, wearing green, celebrating, and being full of smiles! But there is always a couple of questions people do not know... When did this amazing celebration start? Why do we wear green? What can we do to celebrate St. Patrick's Day? The celebration started in the United States on March 17th, 1737 in Boston where they celebrated and honored St. Patrick with the Irish people in the area. They celebrated with wearing green and drinking. People all around bars and streets are wearing just green all around and people wonder, "Why do we have to wear green? Why wear the most challenging color to find an outfit for when out?" And the answer to this is, it is a tradition and to be wearing a piece of the shamrock. People have been very creative ov

What the heck happened today in the NFL

Image
There is always a day in the off season where players get switched all around different NFL teams like it is nothing. Us fans will sit here, read about all of these players changing teams, say, "Wow that is crazy." Then not think about it again until September when you see that player in a different uniform. Here are the biggest ones that had happened this off season, and if they were the right choice or not.  I love this signing of Josh Jacobs going to the Packers, he has had a great last couple of years, and will be a huge pickup for this up and coming team. But the problem is, where is the love for Aaron Jones? The man did so much for the Packers in the past years and they just released him like he was nothing. I am curious where he will go next, but if he plays any way like he did with the Packers, any team would be lucky to pick him up. He is a great pickup for the New York Giants getting a pass rushing D end who is a leader and get some intensity in that defense for th

Activities to do if being in a room for 100 hours

This past week, an employee that works for Barstool Sports did a solitary confinement challenge for 100 hours which was filmed to show what he can do during it, and if would be able to make it through the 100 hours. Unfortunately, the entire time was not too exciting by the amount of hours he slept throughout the 100 hours. The challenge was actually bothering Barstool President, Dave Portnoy, that he just shut the stream off completely until the last day. I understand they probably thought of a lot of challenges for Klemmer to do, but here are some that I thought would be a good idea for if Klemmer for some crazy reason would ever want to do this challenge again. Try to do a physical challenge during the time, maybe try to do 1000 pushups or 1000 sit-ups to see where he can make it throughout that time and would have him keep moving.  Make him watch a specific movie series that has multiple movies for it (Harry Potter, Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings) and have him give his reaction o

Reaction on the Last Episode of Love Is Blind

The last episode of season 6 has finally finished, and I like to think this has been one of the best seasons yet. Some things that happened, I could see a mile away, some things that happened, still shocking me til this day. Here is my complete honest opinion on how the last episode went. Who the hell thought this relationship was going to last when this picture is out there after first meeting each other and him saying on the show, "she does not look anything like Meagan Fox." I was surprised how randomly Jimmy did end things with Chelsea where I was thinking there was a better chance of them having the talk in the house or something, but doing it during a candle lit dinner is insane to me. Jimmy was making some lame excuses as if he did not know he was going to end it eventually from the beginning. The curious part of this relationship is to see if Jimmy will try to go to Jessica next and Chelsea going to Trevor next. The only thing I do know, is that this couple will not

The Week of Sports Pt. 1

THE WEEK OF SPORTS PT. 1 College football is back,  not the sport but the video game. Most of the players will be in it, but Arch Manning won't let you use the likeness of his name. Caitlin Clark did the unfathomable, he beat Pistol Pete in points as you can see. She scored not using a layup or deep from the logo, but from a shot that was free. Trading in sports is very difficult, trading in the NFL is a different beast. They thought Russell Wilson was going to win Denver some Superbowls, for after 2 years he was released. Jason Kelce has retired from the sport of football, that must be such a huge shift. Because instead of being on the field playing, he will be sitting in Kansas City with Taylor Swift. The combine is here, players have been waiting years for this single day. So their draft stock did not move, for Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Drake Maye. People are not ready for the truth,  for some it may be harsh. But buckle up and get ready for some fans to be upset, bec

Is it the worst trade of all time?

Image
Russell Wilson has just been released by the Denver Broncos after only  years and having the total record of 11-19, which is not good worth the trade and money that the Broncos spent. In the picture above, it shows what the Broncos got and what the Seahawks got, which is absolutely insane because Russell Wilson has been good, but it is not like he ever had superhero stats. Yes, he is a superbowl champion, and he has won some big games with some great stats, but he was never able to win it all by himself. I personally thing this might easily be the worst trade of all time seeing that it is officially over with Russell Wilson being released, but here are a couple of other terrible trades in sports history. Babe Ruth was in a trade... FOR NO PLAYER BUT SOME MONEY THAT WAS INVESTED IN A MUSICAL! When you think how amazing Babe Ruth ended up being... this musical better be the greatest thing of all time, right? Wrong, it was called No, No, Nanette, ever heard of it? Me neither! The Yankee

Is Sister Jean Coming Back?

March Madness promises only one thing every single year... MADNESS! There are always upsets, blowouts, tears, game winners, and nets being cut down. One specific year there was a team that was making more upsets than usual, and making it far through the tournament. in 2018 there was a team named the Loyola Chicago Ramblers that made all the way to the final 4, and if you asked me... I cannot name one player on that team. But I can tell you the most famous person in that university, at the time 101 year old Sister Jean who was their "Good Luck Charm". She was at every game and was shown during the game all of the time... She was the Taylor Swift for Chiefs games before Taylor Swift was even going to games. The camera loved her, and most of the fans loved her (The losing team's fans were not a fan of her). But when they lost in the final 4 against Michigan, we have not really heard from Loyola Chicago basketball or Sister Jean.  But this year... 2024, THERE IS A CHANCE TH

My Honest Opinion on Caleb Williams

Image
This is another year where you have multiple options of a quarterback to be the face of your team and you can either crush it and get a quarterback like CJ Strout and make the playoffs their rookie year, or get a quarterback like Bryce Young who unfortunately has had a very tough rookie year and I do not know how promising the future can look for him. With quarterbacks like Drake Maye, Jayden Daniels, JJ McCarthy, and a couple others, he has some competition for the #1 pick. Here is my honest opinion on the expected #1 pick of the 2024 NFL Draft. Caleb Williams started as a 5 star, 2021 Washington D.C. Player of the Year committing to Oklahoma following another star quarterback, Spencer Rattler. He started that season doing a great job as a backup quarterback getting some reps in the blowouts, showing the coaches how he can do. He was not expecting to get too many reps or opportunities throughout this season, just helping out as a backup. But on October 9th, 2021... Everything changed

NCAA Men's Basketball 3/2/24 Predictions

Last week I went 10-3 in my Money line bets for the week and I think I was on a hot streak. Yes, I understand some of the games I picked were automatics... but I also had some upsets which was nice to see. I will not forgive Baylor for blowing their opportunity to upset Houston with missing a free throw with 4 seconds left of the game to take the lead. But you know what... it's a new week. Let's see how these picks will go, here are my predictions: #24 Florida @ #18 South Carolina- Winner #18 South Carolina Villanova @ Providence- Winner Villanova #7 Kansas @ #15 Baylor- Winner #15 Baylor (Do not do me dirty again Baylor) #13 Illinois @ Wisconsin- Winner #13 Illinois Arkansas @ #16 Kentucky- Winner #16 Kentucky Oregon @ #6 Arizona- Winner #6 Arizona #5 Marquette @ #12 Creighton- Winner #12 Creighton #8 Iowa State @ UCF- Winner #8 Iowa State NC State @ #9 North Carolina- Winner #9 North Carolina #23 Gonzaga @ #17 St. Mary's- Winner #23 Gonzaga #4 Tennessee @ #14 Alabama- Wi
