Life Changed in One Spin
I am watching the Television Show Hustlers, Gamblers, and Crooks and just watched the man who sold all of his belongings and put it on one roulette spin. That. Is. Bonkers. The man named Ashely Revell who was 32 when he did this, put 135,000 on his spin. I was having the anxiety of just watching the documentary knowing that there was a chance that he doubles his money, or will literally have 0 in his account and has to sit there in Vegas, a place where you need money... with no money. Apparently he went to one casino to do this for TV and the casino thought that he was doing it, but knew some cheating method to win it automatically so they declined the day before. Yes, it sounds crazy that they thought he was able to cheat to win, but also.... you should be a crazy person to be risking your entire life savings on one spin at a casino. He finally found a new casino where he was able to do it, and they brought his whole family. Personally, I would not want my family to come, because if I won it I would be spending that money QUICKLY. And if I lost, the first person who would've patted me on the back knowing I lost all my money would have been getting an uppercut. So the man finally got his casino, put the money down, and bet on a color. In a scenario that he was in, he really just risked it all and should know what to expect or do if he lost, but if that ball stopped at a green 0... I would've freaked out with the odds like that happening. So when I was watching, I just kept saying to myself, "What is going to happen to this guy when he loses his money? What will the person say? What will the person do next?" and the world may never know because this lucky, lucky man won and DOUBLED his life winnings. I do not know what he is doing now, but I hope he is doing well and I hope he is still living on the edge. Personally, I don't think I could even bet half of my life's saving on one spin. I feel like I am a risky man in my life, but I am not that dangerous.
